Over the last 80 years, Budweiser's team of world-renowned Clydesdale horses have become just as iconic as the flavorful, American-style lager itself.

The Budweiser Clydesdales were first introduced to the American public in April 1933 to commemorate the repeal of Prohibition, thrilling thousands across a tour that spanned New York and the Mid-Atlantic states before reaching Washington D.C., where they waltzed down Pennsylvania Avenue to deliver the first case of Budweiser to President Franklin D. Roosevelt at the White House.

More than just a mascot, the Budweiser Clydesdales continue to be an enduring symbol of the brewer's heritage, tradition, and commitment to quality to this day, venturing outside of their home at the Anheuser-Busch breweries in St. Louis several times a year to make hundreds of appearances across the country.

The City of Buffalo will be lucky enough to host the Budweiser Clydesdales for a full hitch parade later this month, giving you a chance to see these magnificent, storied animals and their famous red, white, and gold beer wagon in-person.
