In an effort to improve their defense, the Buffalo Bills have re-signed defensive end Shawn Merriman to a new deal.  Merriman, who was cut by the Bills earlier this season, played 5 games for Buffalo in 2011.  Merriman fills the void left by DE Mark Anderson, who suffered a knee injury and could miss up to 9 weeks.  The newly signed Merriman is expected to see playing time as a rotational defensive end along with Kyle Moore. Terms of the contract have not been disclosed.

It would do the Bills wonders if they could get 75% of the player that Shawn was in his heyday!  Watch this and see what I mean!!
