It had been reported several weeks ago, but on Monday the Buffalo Bills made it official with the introduction of quarterback Kevin Kolb.

The Bills will be Kolb's third NFL team after having played in Phoenix and Philadelphia.  He was a second round draft choice of the Eagles in 2007, but his career with both the Cardinals and the Eagles has been marked with injuries including one last year while playing against the Bills that ended his season.

He's believed to have signed a two-year, $12-million deal with the Bills and during a Monday afternoon press conference he sounded genuinely excited to be here and to get to work.

Kolb was also asked what it was about the offense that new Bills coach Doug Marrone was planning that attracted him to sign with the Bills. He paused for a moment seemingly not wanting to reveal what the Bills have in store.

With the Bills Kolb will compete against Tarvaris Jackson and any other quarterback the Bills bring in for the starting job, possibly a high-round draft pick.
