The new trend for the Buffalo Bills is to sign former players to act as "coaches" to the practice squad, or to be used in a pinch if injuries hit.

With that being said, here are 6 drought-era Buffalo Bills that should be signed to the practice squad.

Nate Clements - He was a 1st round draft pick by the Bills in 2001 and ended up playing in 96 games for the Bills. He didn't miss one game in the six seasons he was in Buffalo. He was also a Pro Bowler when he was in Buffalo.

Kyle Williams - Ok, we cheated a little bit here as Williams was part of the Bills team that ended the drought. But the man only got to play in one playoff game. He was the heart and soul of the team while he was in Buffalo, and he deserves a ring.

Brian Moorman - Maybe the best punter in Buffalo Bills' history, Moorman was asked to kick a lot during the drought era. He was named to the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team
Buffalo Bills 50th Anniversary Team, and was a two 1st-team All-Pro.

Ruben Brown - Another 1st round draft pick by the Bills. Brown was the anchor for the o-line when he was in Buffalo. He was named to 9 Pro Bowls, the PFWA All-Rookie Team, and the Buffalo Bills' 50th Anniversary Team.

Eric Moulds - Moulds played 8 seasons in Buffalo and only made the playoffs once. He was one of the best recovers in Bills' history and was the first Bills' receiver to catch 100 passes in a season.

Aaron Schobel - A 2nd round pick by the Bills, Schobel was named to two Pro Bowls and started 116 consecutive games for the Bills from 2003 until 2008.
