Buffalo Bills Sign Another Wide Receiver on Friday
The Buffalo Bills have quite a few battles on the roster, as we work our way deeper into training camp.
One of the biggest position battles in camp is at wide receiver.
We know Stefon Diggs is the WR1 and Gabe Davis is the WR2. After that, there's a whole lot of jockeying for position.
Veteran free agent signings Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield seem to be vying for the main slot position, with Khalil Shakir in the mix as well.
After that, the Bills have the likes of rookie Justin Shorter, along with Isaiah Coulter, Dezmon Patton and KeeSean Johnson. On Friday afternoon, the Bills reportedly agreed to a contract with another wide receiver.
According to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, the Bills have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver Andy Isabella.
Isabella came in for a workout with the Bills on Friday and impressed enough to get brought into the fold.
Isabella was a second round pick for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draft, where he largely disappointed in production. He had trouble getting on the field and was eventually waived by Arizona in October of last year. After a brief stint with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022, he has been a free agent since March.
A big reason Isabella was drafted so high by the Cardinals, was his 40-time. He ran a 4.31 40-yard-dash. He played college football at the University of Massachusetts.
He will have an uphill battle to make the Bills roster but the coaching staff and Brandon Beane have seen enough to at least get a look at him in the preseason.
