Buffalo Business in Spotlight at Presidential Inauguration
Once again a piece of Western New York was in the spotlight during the presidential inauguration.
Kittinger Furniture Company provided the chairs and side tables at this year's presidential inauguration.
According to WKBW, the Buffalo-based company has been apart of the presidential inauguration since 1992.
Kittinger Furniture Company provided the chairs and side tables at each presidential inauguration since Bill Clinton was sworn in in 1992, including the chairs President Biden and Vice President Harris sat in.
The company has also helped decorate the White House with chairs and tables since 1970 when Richard Nixon took office.
Kittnerger Furniture Company was founded in the Queen City back in 1866 and according to their website, their work can be found all over the White House.
When you see a picture of the President in the Oval Office meeting with a person of importance, they are almost always sitting on a pair of our Fireside Chairs. The Roosevelt Room features a Kittinger conference table, our famous "Roosevelt Room" chairs and several other pieces. Many other spaces in the White House have Kittinger pieces such as the West Wing Waiting Room, the Green Room and various support offices.
Kittnerger Furniture Company headquarters are located on Transit Road and are open Mon-Fri from 9 am until 4:30 pm.
