The body of Buffalo Police Officer Craig Lehner was recovered two days ago, and the people of Buffalo are showing their support by displaying blue pumpkins.

It's one of the many ways that Buffalo has shown support of the officer who died in the Niagara River after a training exercise went wrong on Friday October 13th.

Many people are displaying blue pumpkins as we get close to Halloween.  They are either painting them on their own or purchasing them.  If they're purchased at The Great Pumpkin Farm, the proceeds will go to Lehner's family.

According to WKBW, WNYHeroes.org will be donating the first $1,500.

People are asked to display the pumpkins with a yellow ribbon.
