According to WIVB, the Galbani Italian Heritage Festival has been canceled. The festival was supposed to take place on July 18th and 19th at Niagara Square and run along Delaware Avenue.

From Galbani officials, per WIVB:

“For the health and safety of our guests, vendors, and board members it was essential to come to this decision,” officials said.

The Italian Festival is one of the festivals Buffalonians look forward to the most, so this is incredibly sad. It joins the laundry list of other events and festivals postponed and canceled this summer.
