Can A Handgun Fire Underwater? [VIDEO]

I have done a lot of pistol shooting over the past 25 years. If I had to guess, I would say I have fired well over 10,000 rounds through my pistols. And that number could be even higher. I know I have spend quite a bit of money on ammunition over the past two and a half decades. It's all good because I really enjoy shooting.

One thing I have always wondered about and never tried is whether or not a handgun would fire under water. Maybe it has to do with all the James Bond films I have watched over the years. Check out this video of what happens when you fire a Glock model 22 pistol underwater.
