A coffee shop in Canada took kind of a cheap shot at, most likely, Americans on the side of their cups.

It reads, "If this was another country, we'd have to tell you that this coffee may be hot! Good thing this is Canada!"

Perhaps they're insinuating that Americans are not the sharpest tools in the shed. While many people in the USA may be offended, you only need one Debbie Downer to bring down the entire group.

Need we remind you of the 1994 case of Stella Liebeck who had suffered third-degree burns in her pelvic region when she accidentally spilled hot coffee in her lap after purchasing it from a McDonald's restaurant? Liebeck was hospitalized for eight days while she underwent skin grafting, followed by two years of medical treatment.

She sued McDonald's and won...$2.7 million in punitive damages to be exact. $2.7 million dollars because she screwed up and spilled a coffee on herself and said it was too hot.

Too hot? When was the last time you expected coffee to come lukewarm or cold? Ms. Liebeck should have gotten her common sense checked out while at the hospital too.

...Cheap shot accepted, Canada.
