I remember very clearly the day that I introduced Willie Nelson at the Jamboree in the Hills. It was early in my career and I was as nervous as a guy could get. I’ve met George Strait numerous times. Thomas Rhett used a quote of mine on his first single released to radio. I’ve been nominated for an ACM award, was the PA announcer for an NCAA basketball tournament and worked with some of he best radio people to ever sit behind a microphone.
This past Sunday was probably one of the biggest moments of my career. I was offered the chance to audition to be the public address announcer for The Buffalo Bills during the game against The Cincinnati Bengals.

I grew up in Western New York. I’ve lived in the Buffalo area my entire life. I remember the night of “wide right” like it was yesterday. It was the first time I have ever seen grown men cry over their favorite team losing. I remember being in the living room of our house in East Aurora watching on TV as Bills fans ripped down the field goal post after a win. I was just a little kid in the crowd the night the Bills beat the Raiders on a cold evening in Orchard Park and I even was a season ticket holder the year The Bills acquired Terrell Owens! My sister was the nanny for Steve Tasker's kids and Jim Kelly even bought a snowmobile from me!

I don’t claim to be the biggest Bills fan. I can't give you the stats on all of the players or the history of the team front to back. But I do talk proud about my city.
I’ve had he opportunity to leave Buffalo for other jobs. It never felt like a good idea to leave home.
This opportunity, the chance to be a voice for The Bills, even if for one game, will go down as one of my proudest moments not only of my career, but of my life as a Buffalonian.
I know what this team means to this area. It’s OUR team in OUR city; win or lose. From four losses at the Super Bowl, to threats of being moved to another city, The Buffalo Bills are the common thread that brings US together. On game day, it doesn't matter if you are a country fan or have no idea who Thomas Rhett is. The Buffalo Bills are at the heart of most Buffalonians.
This "audition"  was definitely a challenge for me. Not only did I have the nerves of speaking in front of over 50,000 football fans,we are also expecting our new baby any day!  But I’ve never felt the kind of excitement or PRIDE of where I was born and where my kids will grow up than at the moment I was able to introduce the 2018 Buffalo Bills at New Era Field! It's a new highlight for me. Sincere thanks to The Buffalo Bills!
