The hometown Buffalo Bills have been hard at work proving to people all over the nation that they're one of the best teams in the league this year. With some of the other teams that people expect to do well struggling, New York State's only NFL team remains one of only two undefeated teams in the NFL.

The Bills put a number on the New Orleans Saints this past weekend and had some players set some records and hit some major career milestones in the process.

Buffalo's star running back Jimbo Cook broke a major rushing record in Buffalo during the game.

In the first quarter of the game, Cook took the ball and plunged into the end zone. That score, his 25th of his career, marked the eighth consecutive game where he scored a touchdown. That also set a Bills franchise record, which was previously held by Thurman Thomas.

That achievement by Cook wasn't the only big milestone that happened on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

In the second quarter of the Saints game, Bishop was in the end zone defending the center of the field when he noticed something that not a lot of people caught as it was happening.

The Saints decided to dig deep in their playbook and pulled out a trick play that had wide receiver Chris Olave as the quarterback who tried to toss a pass to quarterback Spencer Rattler as he scampered towards the end zone. Instead of New Orleans celebrating a touchdown, it was Cole Bishop and the Bills celebrating as Bishop read the play while jumping in front of Rattler and snagging his first career interception with one hand.

When interviewed after the game, the 22-year-old Bishop talked about how he spent a lot of time studying tape and working in the off-season to improve his ability to read defenses, and thought it was pretty awesome to be able to celebrate it with his first career interception.

Way to go, Cole!
