
Bills Give Saints Last Rights In Buffalo, Winning 31-19
In what was could be considered one of the best weather days we've had in Western New York this fall, Sunday, September 28, 2025, featured thousands of people traveling into Orchard Park, New York, to watch the hometown Buffalo Bills host the struggling New Orleans Saints at Highmark Stadium.
Warm temperatures and tons of sunshine beamed on a beautiful day that saw the heavily favored Buffalo Bills waste no time getting some points on the scoreboard. The first touchdown of the game came after reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen tossed short pass to Khalil Shakir who took it 43-yards while showing how much he enjoys being in the end zone.
The Saints answered quickly with a Kendre Miller score a few minutes later, but the Bills didn't take that score laying down. James Cook made sure to pound the ball hard into the end zone on a 1-yard run to give the Bills their second score of the 1st quarter.

After what started as a pretty exciting game, quickly turned quiet as the second quarter gave us several punts, Josh Allen's first turnover of the 2025 season, and a New Orleans field goal that sent both teams into halftime with a score of 14-10.
The second half of football in Buffalo, turned out to be better for the hometown team as Josh Allen decided he needed to take upon himself to put more points on the board for the Bills. JA17 took a bootleg 5-yards into the end zone for a score, his 7th score of the season.
After a turnover on downs, the Bills got the ball back after a Saints field goal and Josh Allen took the team on his back once again and did some Josh Allen-things; after a big 27-yard run, Allen then tossed a 28-yard pass to Dalton Kincaid for a touchdown.

After New Orleans' Nephi Sewell illegally hit Bills Punter Cameron Johnston, drawing a Roughing the Kicker penalty, the Bills were able to continue a drive that ended with a 35-yard Matt Prater field goal. That kicked turned out to be the final score of the game, as the Bills etched out their fourth win of the season, winning 31-19.
Even though the Bills definitely missed having Spencer Brown, Ed Oliver, and Matt Milano on the field, but were able to once again show why they are one of the best teams in the NFL while handing the Saints another L. This game was the 13th meeting between Buffalo and New Orleans, with the Saints leading the all time matchup 7-6.
Now the Bills look forward to week five where they are scheduled to face their AFC East rival New England Patriots.
