It's time for today's Country Music Timeline.  Looking back in history, Skip Ewing is born, there's a discrepancy on CMT's birthday, and Brad Paisley has some bruises to remind him of this date.1964 -- Skip Ewing who's famous for recording songs and more famous for writing them is born in Redlands, California. Some songs that he's written: "Love, Me," "Someone Else's Star," "Something That We Do" and "If I Didn't Have You."

1983 -- CMT debuts on cable TV. The first video was a performance clip of Faron Young's "It's Four In The Morning." Wikipedia  says their birthday was on March 5th but CMT.com says it was March 6th. I'll take CMT's word for it.

1999 -- Sara Evans scores her first #1 Billboard Hit with "No Place That Far." I've been in love ever since.

1999 -- While talking on the cell phone to the president of his record label, George Jones runs into a bridge and is seriously injured. He would end up being in the hospital for 13 days. About.com

2004 -- Dierks Bentley is thinking Gold with his debut self titled CD.

2006 -- Miranda Lambert goes gold with her single "Kerosene."

2010 -- Brad Paisley is treated for bruises after he falls on stage during the final verse of "Alcohol" at a concert in South Carolina. It's those stinking crooked stages!
