A Dad’s List Of Must-Have Winter Essentials You Need In Your Car

Technically we are still in fall.  But in New York, we get snow in the fall and winter isn't far away.  So what would your dad tell you to make sure you have in your car?

You can count on dad to have what you need

Dads are protective. That's just how we are.  So when it comes to being prepared for winter, you can bet that we're going to make sure that you've got what you need.  Whether that means being prepared for getting stuck on the side of the road, or having problems with your vehicle, you'll have what you need to get yourself through.

What are some things that you need to prepare for during winter storms in New York?

You never know what you might run into when you get out on the road in the winter in New York.  You never think that anything could go wrong, but the key is to be prepared when it does.  That could be whiteout conditions that you just need to sit through in a safe spot, or being able to call someone if you, unfortunately, drift a little too far to the side of the road and end up in a ditch.  If your car decides that it isn't going to start because it's cold, or you smack a deer before you can see it, your dad will have you prepared.

Most of these things don't take up a lot of space

This looks like a ton of stuff to make sure you always have in your car.  The good news is that they don't take up a lot of space and can really save the day if you have them.  Put together a small duffel bag of these things and you'll be good to go until spring.
