The Buffalo and Erie County Public Libraries have a summer reading program on Tuesdays this year and WYRK is pleased to be a part of it.  I had a chance to host Tuesday's session at the City of Tonawanda Public Library with a group of about twelve kids during the hour or so that I was there.

The library had a stack of suggested books for me to read to the kids between the ages of about 4 thru 10.  Kids books usually depend on pictures to help with the story, so it means the story is usually pretty short.  We went thru about 10 stories while I was there and we began with one I hadn't heard of before.

Most of the kids hadn't heard the story either, so we began the session with the "Skeleton Pirate".
