Dan Page From Medina Is This Week’s Hometown Hero!

This week’s Hometown Hero comes to us originally from Medina. It’s Army Specialist Dan Page!

Dan was deployed to Afghanistan in June and will be gone until next year. He has been in the Army Reserves for three and a half years now in a heavy equipment operating unit. He loves being in the military and plans to reenlist once his contract is up.

He is a huge Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Bandits fan and is so upset he is missing them while overseas. His family is hoping to be able to get him to Sabres and Bandits games once he gets home next year. Dan plays lacrosse and football on local teams back home.

His husky, Thor, and his wife miss him very much!! Their 2-year wedding anniversary was on Tuesday, and the first song today goes out to them. It’s their wedding song, "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw.
