Donate E-Scrap For Western New York Camp Good Days
The program's goal is to help raise money for Camp Good Days and Special Times, a non-profit organization established in 1979, that aims to improve the quality of life for children, adults, and families who have been affected by cancer. For each pound of electronics that is collected, Sunking will donate a portion of the proceeds to Camp Good Days to help to fund future programs.
The program recycles company and employee electronics, and Buffalo-area businesses can now donate their used electronics to the program for free, and help send local kids dealing with cancer to the camp which is a WNY institution.
If you work for or know someone that is at a business in the Western New York Area (Buffalo & Rochester) you can register online now through February 4th by CLICKING HERE.
Rochester-area collections begin on February 28.
Buffalo-area collections begin on May 2.
Adam Shine, Vice President of Sunnking said via a press release;
I love knowing this is a chance every year for local organizations to make a big impact and put some big smiles on the faces of these kids.
Sunnking, the organizer of the event, will be providing boxes to gather up the used electronics, and will also be offering free, contactless delivery and pickup.
Last year, 353 businesses contributed, and Sunking's E-Scrap for Camp program has recycled nearly 5.6 million pounds of electronics to date.
