The suburbs around Western New York have a tons of grocery stores and markets that pretty much make it an embarrassment of riches when it comes to shopping for food and other supplies.

If you live or work in downtown Buffalo, however, you won't have to wait long to get your very own grocery store and if you're looking for a new job, then you can look forward to that as well.

WGRZ is reporting that Braymiller Market is set to open towards the end of the spring and they need a staff.

The new grocery store will be 20,000-square-feet in wholesale food and retail, and they're looking to hire and train 60 new employees.

The new market is part of the 201 Ellicott St. development and it sounds like it's going to be a destination for many in Buffalo and Western New York.

This will be the market's second location but it's THREE times bigger than the southtowns location and will feature much more room for both customers and employees. They will even have a dining area and ice cream shop in the market, so it'll give the downtown area a place for shopping and dining in.

Working in downtown Buffalo, I would be lying if I said it wasn't a pain to sometimes go get lunch. I have to go down 12 floors then find a place somewhat nearby, and by the time I get back, lunch is over. This new market will help out a ton for downtown workers.
