Living and working in the big city comes with all sorts of benefits and perils. From the excitement of being in the middle of a bustling metropolis to the ills that come from an urban existence, there are all sorts of things that you have to be aware of when you traverse any modern city.

From speeding cars and people-filled sidewalks to homeless and street vendors, there are all kinds of things that you have to navigate when you are walking around the streets of just about any city in America. Of course, that means Buffalo isn't exempt from this. However, one thing most people don't worry about is things falling from the top of skyscrapers in the middle of the city and hitting them.

Unfortunately, it seems that the exact thing happened in Downtown Buffalo on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, near the corner of Pearl Street and Court Street.

A spokesman from the Liberty Building spoke with WIVB-TV and expressed relief that the man was not seriously hurt, and they pledged to work with city officials to determine exactly what happened.
