Drive Thru Hiring Event Happening At Darien Lake Saturday

If you're looking for a job this summer that is made for fun, Darien Lake might have one for you.  And they're hiring this weekend.

Who wants to go to Darien Lake every day this summer?  These jobs could be for you!  Six Flags has around 1500 jobs to fill and they're hoping to hire most of them on Saturday at their first ever drive-thru hiring event.

They're looking to fill positions for:

• ride operators
• lifeguards
• cashiers
• ticket takers
• food service
• medical services
• security
• guest relations and hospitality

The hiring event takes place this Saturday and next Saturday and it will be completely drive-thru and contact free.  It seems to be the new way of doing mass hiring events.  You will remain in your car the whole time.

The park will open up on May 21st.  This year is going to look a lot different at Darien Lake.  People will need to have reservations at the park and tickets will have to be purchased in advance.  Another big change will be the lack of cash.  All purchases will have to be done through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or debit card.

Season passes are on sale now, and passes that were purchased for the 2020 season, when the park was closed due to the pandemic, will be honored this year.
