You might have heard about some seasonal vendors being removed from The Broadway Market this past year. The reason was the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it had on permanent vendors who sold similar products.

Now, those seasonal vendors are will be found at a new festival coming to the Eastern Hills Mall.

According to WGRZ, there will be a brand new festival coming to the Eastern Hills Mall this March and early April.

The vendors will have tents set up and there will be music, too!

"We run about 70 percent locals, so we're ready to invite those from the Broadway Market in, and who knows, they may become an integral part of our redevelopment, and we'll have a year-wide farmer's market and artisan's market," said Russell Fulton, general manager of Eastern Hills Mall.

All in all there will be roughly 30 vendors set up for the new festival and the event will run every Saturday and Sunday in March, along with April 1st through April 3rd (the weekend of Easter).

There's hope this will become a new tradition every spring and bring more business to the vendors every year.

Here are some of the vendors who you will find, courtesy of WGRZ.

  • Hanzlins Sausage
  • Blue Eyed Bakery
  • Kissed by the Sun Spices
  • Weber’s Maple
  • Dan's Bavarian Nuts
  • Paparazzi
  • Mystic Gifts

This sounds fantastic. The Easter season is one of my favorite times of the year and it's great these vendors have a new festival to go to.
