EJ Manuel is back practicing with the Buffalo Bills after undergoing a "minor knee procedure" two weeks ago.

Manuel was injured during the Bills second preseason game when they played the Washington Redskins.

There have been questions as to whether or not he would be ready for the first game of the regular season, when the Bills will play the New England Patriots. Coach Doug Marrone even said this week that if Manuel is not ready to play, the undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel would be the starting quarterback.

All of that aside, it is great news that Manuel is back and practicing with the team. His status is still up in the air for week one, but I have to believe with him practicing, that is a good sign. Let the excitement for week one resume!
