What a tune.

Toby Keith released a brand new song that he wrote by himself called 'Happy Birthday America' and it is good. Real good.

I mean, it is no surprise that Toby Keith wrote a song called 'Happy Birthday America', with songs like 'American Soldier', 'American Ride', 'Made In America' and 'Angry American'. Everyone in country music knows that Toby is a very patriotic guy and always stands up for the United States.

Speaking of patriotic, there is also that story about the Toby Keith/Dixie Chicks feud. If you don't know the story, here is the simple version: The Dixie Chicks made comments about then-President of the United States, George H.W. Bush. They said that they were ashamed that he was from Texas, where the Dixie Chicks are from.

Toby Keith defended the President and then words were exchanged back and forth. Later that year Natalie Maines, the lead singer of the Dixie Chicks wore the infamous 'F-U-T-K' t-shirt at an award show.

So when we say that it is no surprise that Toby Keith wrote ANOTHER song about the United States of America, we mean it. He is a BIG AMERICA guy.

"Happy Birthday America....whatever's left of you" is the last line of the chorus and you just have to hear the tune--it's good!

It is actually a little bit too 'edgy' I would say for the radio. After all, he says 'pissin' over and over again, which in the context of the song some might say is okay, but the kids don't need to hear that over and over again.
