Facebook’s New Rules Coming Over Trending Topics

Remember when Justin Timberlake was moving to Buffalo? Or that N'SYNC was coming to Ralph Wilson Stadium? Or you've probably heard a lot of weird, unbelievable things about Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton I'm sure this election season--but, Facebook wants to help put an end to that.

Facebook will begin to start inserting real, genuine news stories to trending topics on the social media site.

The social network also plans to stop pulling in trending topics from a single source to prevent falsehoods from going viral, and will no longer personalize lists based on users' interests. Instead, everyone will get the same topics", according to ABC.
