Fairgrounds Festival of Lights is Back For 2025

The 2025 Fairgrounds Festival of Lights will be here soon! This will mark the 21st season of the biggest and most impressive lighting displays in all of Western New York.

The Fairgrounds Festival of Lights will open on select dates starting on November 28th through December 30 and features more than 70 drive-thru lighted attractions.

This is one event that our family looks forward to every year and has so much family fun to offer. I have been watching them set up the lights for weeks already and according to a press release from the Fairgrounds, that is just the beginning.

"Western New York’s largest holiday light show features more than 70 drive-thru displays, festive tunnels and arches, a holiday market and walk-around attractions for all ages".

It is not even Halloween and yet when you walk in some of the larger chain stores there are already Christmas decorations up and on sale! I took the pictures below on a recent trip to Lowe's in Hamburg.

The weather is finally cooling off here in Western New York and it won't be long before we start to see the snow fly! While I am not trying to rush the fall and the excitement of Halloween, I have to admit that seeing the lights going up at the Fairgrounds is exciting.
