Fall Like Temperatures For New York State

The colder air is set to return this week as a brief dip back in to the 50's and 60's is coming Friday.

The best indicator of cooler air moving in to the state is when the overnight lows dip down on a regular basis. It looks like we are going to start to see that as we start the second half of August.

In many portions of New York, the high wont get above 70 by Friday and overnight lows will be in the 50's.

The cooler air is being brought in behind a round of storms this week.

But don't let the cooler air fool you, this summer has been hot! As a matter of fact, across the globe, it has been a record setter!
