Funeral arrangements have been set for Buffalo Police officer Craig Lehner who died during a training exercise last week.  The announcement was made today that the funeral would be open to the public and held at KeyBank Center.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday, October 24th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home on Lakeshore Rd. in Hamburg.  Visitation is open to the public.

There will be a military and police funeral service to be held on Wednesday Ocotober 25th at 10:00am.

They have chosen to have the service at KeyBank Center due to the large amount of people that are expected to attend.  They are expecting over 5000 members of law enforcement from across the country.

Following the ceremony will be a procession to Forrest Lawn Cemetary for his final resting place.

Buffalo Police say all monetary donations for the Lehner family should be made directly to the Buffalo Police PBA at 74 Franklin Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.
