Future Hall of Fame QB Says The Bills Are The Team To Beat In The NFL
The Buffalo Bills have now gotten past their bye week and now have their sights set on the Miami Dolphins at Highmark Stadium this Sunday at 1 pm. The game just so happens to fall on Halloween.
For the second-straight season, the Bills entered the bye week after a heartbreaking defeat. They lost 34-31 to the Tennessee Titans in Nashville last Monday night; and much like the Arizona Cardinals "Hail Murray" loss last year going into the bye, the Bills did not play poorly against the Titans. It was just a great game, going back-and-forth.
The Bills are 4-2 and leading the AFC East over the New England Patriots by a game and a half. They still boast arguably the best offense and defense in the NFL.
While some may point to the Arizona Cardinals or Tennessee Titans as the best team in the NFL, future Hall of Fame quarterback and current Sunday Night Football on NBC analyst, Drew Brees says that the Buffalo Bills are still the best team in football.
This tweet from Tim Graham of The Athletic.
The Bills are second in points per game, and tied for first in points allowed per game.
They definitely will make the playoffs and likely win the AFC East, but the number one seed in the AFC is the current golden prize. The Bills want home field advantage during the playoffs, so they don't have to worry about traveling to Baltimore, Nashville, or Kansas City, although the Chiefs lost again on Sunday and sit at 3-4 -- out of the current AFC playoff picture.
I agree with Brees; the Bills are the most complete team in the NFL at the moment.
