Most Beloved Buffalo Bills Coach Gets Massive New Mural
What an opportunity we stumbled upon in Orchard Park, New York, this week!
As my daughter Willie and I were taking a walk, we noticed a brand-new mural on the side of a wall next to The Birdhouse. If you are a fan of the Buffalo Bills, this is one you are going to want to check out... and don’t forget to bring your phone for that selfie!
New Highmark Stadium Era Begins in Orchard Park
The Buffalo Bills are in their inaugural season at the brand-new Highmark Stadium, and the opening regular-season game against the Detroit Lions was a massive success.
The Bills defeated the Lions 41–31 in front of a huge crowd at the new stadium. The night featured lights, pyrotechnics, video and music that created an incredible atmosphere for Bills Mafia.

The game was also a massive television event. According to Sports Media Watch, the Lions-Bills matchup averaged 18.6 million viewers on Amazon Prime Video, making it the most-watched Thursday Night Football season opener since the package moved to Prime Video.
But there is something else Buffalo Bills fans are celebrating this year, and it involves one of the most legendary figures in franchise history.
A New Mural Celebrates Marv Levy
Former Buffalo Bills head coach Marv Levy celebrated his 101st birthday in August 2026. Levy remains a beloved figure throughout Western New York after leading the Bills to four consecutive AFC championships and four straight Super Bowl appearances during the early 1990s.
As I was walking down the main drag in Orchard Park, New York, I couldn’t help but notice a massive mural dedicated to Marv Levy and one of his most famous quotes:
“Where else would you rather be than right here, right now?”

The new mural also features the new Highmark Stadium in the lower-right-hand corner. It is an incredibly vibrant and beautiful representation of Marv’s words, along with a fantastic rendering of Levy during his legendary football years with the Buffalo Bills.
And if you are looking for a great Buffalo Bills photo opportunity, this mural definitely delivers.

The Story Behind the Orchard Park Mural
I had a chance to speak with the artist,Tara Bystran, who told me that she has worked on other projects, including a large piece at the Lovejoy Pool featuring a giant locomotive train.
This particular mural was created on the wall outside The Birdhouse in collaboration with local representative Pat Burke.
We had a great conversation with Tara, and she was so happy to see that my daughter Willie was excited to take a picture with Marv Levy and the mural.

I’m sure we won’t be the last people to stop by.
In fact, my guess is that thousands of Buffalo Bills fans will eventually make their way to Orchard Park to take a look at this beautiful mural, snap a few pictures and pay tribute to a legendary Buffalo Bills coach.
If you are visiting Orchard Park for a Bills game, checking out the new Highmark Stadium or simply spending some time around Western New York, this new Marv Levy mural is definitely worth a stop.
After all, where else would you rather be than right here, right now?
