Buffalo’s Favorite Warm Weather Beer Is Back
St. Patrick’s Day was so nice in Western New York. The temperatures hit the mid-60’s and it was truly the first gorgeous day of the year.
I always brag to people who have never been to Buffalo, to come here in the spring and summer. It gets warm but usually, not unbearably hot. The access to all the water is a huge perk as well. Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, the Niagara River, the Erie Canal and so on.
The food and drinks that pop up during the spring and summer in Buffalo is always a huge reason people love Western New York.
But what beer do Buffalonians associate with warm weather? There’s really only one beer that signals the arrival of warmer weather, and it’s officially back in stores this week.
Genesee Brewery has brought back their hugely popular, Ruby Red Kolsch this week!
Ruby Red Kolsch is a grapefruit-flavored beer that is beyond popular in Western New York. They’re currently back at Consumer Beverage’s and Wegmans as well.
There’s just something about this beer that really hits home for people. It’s the perfect warm weather beer too.
My friend said he doesn’t wait for the groundhog to tell him whether or not the warm weather is here, or the date on the calendar. He waits for when Genesee Brewery’s Ruby Red Kolsch to be back on store shelves.
Don’t mind me, I’m just ready to go get myself some at the nearest store.
