If you are an avid WYRK listener, then by now you have heard about the upcoming acoustic concert that is taking place at UB Center for the Performing Arts on March 7th.  Personally, these are my favorite shows to attend.  The venue is great, the show is affordable, you get an up-close and personal night with budding stars and more!!  This time around our concert features J.T. Hodges, Thompson Square and Hunter Hayes.

Today, I will feature newcomer Hunter Hayes.  There's a lot you need to know about this kid before attending the show.  Plus, some of the information here just might make you want to purchase tickets if you haven't already.

Hunter Hayes is a 20 year old who was born in Louisiana.  His first big radio single is entitled "Storm Warning" and his self-titled album was released back in October.  Hunter moved to Nashville three years ago and has already co-written songs for Rascal Flatts and Montgomery Gentry.

Hunter joined his first band at the age of 4, where he played the accordion.  By 5, Hunter was the front man of a group.

Hunter's influences- Garth Brooks, LeAnn Rimes, John Mayer, Keith Urban and Michael Buble'...just to name a few.

In his short career, he has shared the stage with Taylor Swift, Hank Jr., Keith Urban, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum.

Here are some videos/songs from Hunter Hayes that will surely get you ready for the big show on March 7th......
