Grandpa And Grandson Complete G.E.D. Together

It's quite common for a grandfather to pass on some words of wisdom to his grandchildren.  But what this grandfather did with his grandson will last a lifetime.  50 years after he dropped out of school, Bob Speed will receive his G.E.D. that he earned with his grandson.

The plan came together when Bob's grandson Danny Johnson moved in with them and suggested that they do it together.  And that's exactly what they did 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for 7 weeks they spent their time together in the classroom.  They had to learn math, science, history, reading and writing to pass.

Bob and his 21 year old grandson Danny will be receiving their G.E.D. this thursday with the 154 other people who completed the program this year.
