Everyone loves to complain on Facebook, it can be just a community breeding negativity, but it can also be a great tool. There are times that the Facebook community really can be supportive and helpful, such as times like this when a family is trying to locate their kid.

Niagara County Sherriff's put out an alert and are asking the public to see if the public can help locate this young man. He is missing and they are not sure if he has been abducted or ran away.

If you are in the Niagara County, specifically Lockport area, keep an eye out for Elijah. "Elijah is a 17 year old male who was last seen in the Town of Lockport on April 17, 2021. Elijah was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt over a gray hooded sweatshirt, and gray skinny jeans. If you have information regarding Elijah’s whereabouts, please contact the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office at 716-438-3393", according to the police's Facebook post.

Also, this is a great tool and resource you can take advantage of for your family! The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to offer fingerprinting services to Niagara County children! If there was ever an emergency with your kid or family member, this would allow you to keep critical information about your child (such as digital fingerprints and updated photos).

There will actually be an opportunity on Friday, April 23rd from 9am to noon for those who do not have access to the app, or would like physical copies of the kit.
