Heavy Rain And Thunderstorms Expected Tonight

The National Weather Service of Buffalo has issued a Hazardous Weather alert for Thursday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central New York.

Widespread showers and some embedded thunderstorms are expected
late today and tonight. There is a risk for moderate to heavy rain
during this time which could lead to localized minor flooding.

If you live in a low-lying area or area prone to flooding, you should be on alert tonight.

More rain is expected on Friday then some sunshine for Saturday before the rain returns on Sunday for Mother's Day.
