Here Is Where The Flu Shot Is Available To WNY Veterans
As the COVID-19 pandemic enters the fall, health officials are reminding people to get a flu shot and get it early.

The VA Health Care System here in Western New York also sent out a reminder and an invitation to the veterans of the Buffalo and Niagara Falls area.
In a news release this week, The VA announced:
Flu vaccines are now available to Veterans enrolled in VA health care at all VA Western New York Healthcare System locations. Buffalo and Batavia VA medical center sites, as well as seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in Niagara Falls, Lockport, West Seneca, Springville, Dunkirk, Jamestown and Olean, are stocked with this season’s flu vaccine.
The flu is going to be something that is monitored closely this fall as it may cause some sever complications for those who also contract COVID-19. Because we have little kids in the house, I have been getting my flu shot for about four years now. It is not my favorite thing to do but if it helps to protect the health of our boys, I am here for it.
The fall is going to present a greater number of challenges for everyone. But for those who have served our country, they deserve to take advantage of the benefits owed to them for their service and this is just one more.
