Here’s the Schedule for Gowanda’s Fall Fest

Gowanda will close out September with a Fall Festival weekend that promises something for everyone. The Gowanda Free Library started building the Fall atmosphere last weekend with their annual Mum Sale.

This year, that sale will carry over to a third day on Fall Fest Saturday, Sept. 30th, along with a Bake Sale. Also all this week,Jesse's Home & Gifts will have Coloring Contest sheets available for ages 4 to 6 and 7 to 10. Coloring sheets are due back by Noon on Sept. 30.

While it wasn't possible to pull together one favorite children's
event,the Scarecrow Workshop, in time for Fall Fest, the Gowanda Free Library was able to schedule a similar event for two weeks later. That will also be Homecoming Weekend in Gowanda and the Gowanda Boosters Club is planning a very special parade for Spirit Week this year including a guest nationally ranked marching unit.

Friday, September 29

All Day Anniversary sales at Jesse's Home & Gifts with drawings for 2 - $50 gift certificates
(1 entry for each $10 spent). Drawing Saturday evening.

10 am - 6 pm  Bake Sale at Jesse's Home & Gifts for Gowanda Assembly of God Children's Programs.
4 - 6 pm  Make a free Gowanda Panther bracelet at Jesse's Home & Gifts.

4:00 pm Fall-themed Bingo & popsicle stick scarecrow craft for kids at Gowanda Free Library.
