How Do You Handle This Since This Is Their 2nd Date, Not 1st?

What do you think about this one?

One our cousins friends with on a date with a guy she met from the dating app, Bumble last weekend.

• It was their second date in Tonawanda.
• The bill was $80.
• He forgot his credit card, so she paid.
• After a couple days of not getting any money from him, she requested 40 bucks, half the amount.

Half of my family thought that he should have paid the full amount, not just half. What do you think?
