Here are some tips on how to get your kids back on track, and make the transition from break to school less of a hassle.

According to PowerfulMothering.com, bedtime is crucial. If the kids have been staying up late this whole week, put the bedtime back to normal tonight, so that Sunday night isn't as much of a fight.

Today.com recommends an electronics curfew, "it takes children an hour to wind down to sleep, but most now have smartphones and other gadgets that allow them to text or play games late at night. Try to have them unplug at least an hour before bed."

The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic reinforces that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, "It can give your child the boost he needs for a productive school day. If time is an issue, have your child eat a healthy breakfast at school. Make sure it doesn't include sweets such as glazed donuts or pastries, but rather breakfast choices like wheat toast, 2% milk and eggs."

Good luck moms & dads. We're right there with you.
