Looking at the spring and summer lineup for country concerts, it's difficult to not get excited over the schedule of shows which really kick off in June across Western New York.

We know about Taste of Country, Darien Lake, CMAC (among others), but there's another country music festival that is heading to the southtowns that will bring fun and live music from known artists this August.

The "Howl in the Hills" country music festival is returning to Holland International Speedway on August 6th.

The festival was supposed to debut last summer, but was delayed until 2022 because of the pandemic.

Holland International Speedway sets up a great location for a new country music festival, as preparations are made for fans and the musicians.

"We feel the Holland Speedway property with the expansive tree lined grass lots is the perfect setting for a country music festival. We’re looking forward to bringing more events like this to our facility in the future.” says  Ron Bennett Jr  Holland Speedway General Manager.

The cool part of "Howl in the Hills" is it will have a main stage for national and regional acts, along with a second stage for local artists as well.

There will also be food vendors, craft beer, outdoor life activities and much more. It will be an all-day event full of country music and other things that you crave for a music festival.

The artist lineup and ticket information will be released soon and you can find out more at "Howl in the Hills" website.

Get ready for more live country music!
