Donating blood could save someone's life. And the Red Cross says they are in need of one type in particular.

If you have O-type blood, the American Red Cross could use your generous donation.

According to WKBW, weather this time of year will keep people from donating blood. Of course, if you're sick, you cannot donate either. So the rising cases of the flu are creating a shortage of blood and type O in particular.
