Incredible Images Over Lake Ontario This Morning [PHOTOS]
It's been an absolutely gorgeous day across Western New York with mostly sunny skies and the lack of humidity. The breeze has certainly helped as well.
It wasn't like that early this morning, before the sun even came up.
Thunderstorms and clouds rolled through Western New York and that brought heavy rain and thunder, which created some pretty incredible images across Western New York and Lake Erie this morning.
Check out these photos of the ridiculous cloud cover and even a water spout that was captured over Lake Ontario near Olcott Beach.
That's not all. Check out this photo over Wilson, New York.
I woke up to some giant puddles in our street and the cooler air was evident. That cloud formation is pretty cool though. It almost looks as if a tornado is ready to form, but never does. Tornadoes are rare in Western New York, but I don't think I need to remind anyone of the famous Cheektowaga tornadoes of 1987 and 2006 -- both of which took very similar paths.
There was also the tornado that touched down in Hamburg near the fairgrounds in the summer of 2017, which caused damage to the fairgrounds just weeks before the Erie County Fair was set to begin.
I love odd and interesting cloud formations though. If you have anything on photo from this morning, make sure to send them to us!
