Bills Star James Cook Accused Of Running Out On Nightclub Bill
For many years, Buffalo has been famous for its nightclubs and the number of sports stars who like to party in them. Multiple players from professional sports teams have partied the night away in downtown Buffalo, from the Pier along Buffalo's waterfront to the famous Networks Nightclub, owned by NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.
Being the star in the middle of the club isn't cheap, especially nowadays, as tables and bottle service can cost a pretty penny when the power is turned up with loud music and beautiful people. But when you're a superstar football, hockey, lacrosse, or basketball player, that shouldn't matter much, as you likely have millions of dollars rolling in.

One sports star in Western New York did that a few weeks ago inside VENU, a nightclub along W. Chippewa Street in downtown Buffalo.
According to social media reports, Bills Star James Cook partied hard inside VENU on Saturday, September 20th, and into the morning of September 21st.
Cook, who accumulated a pretty large bar tab at VENU, apparently forgot to pay his bill before leaving the club for the night. Rumors swirled around the Buffalo internets about what happened or how Cook forgot to cover his bill.

However, according to an official statement posted on the VENU Nightclub Facebook page, he simply forgot to pay before leaving.
WIVB-TV reports that the report with the BPD was filed more than two weeks after the 'alleged theft of services,' which, as noted in the police report, would be considered a Class A misdemeanor.
In the end, this is attributed to a simple misunderstanding.
After the events at the nightclub, James Cook went on to help the Bills destroy the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football, scoring two touchdowns in the victory.
