New York, Get Ready For A New Girl Scout Cookie

Girl Scout Cookie season is underway, and there is a new flavor here in New York. The Girl Scouts have previously made changes to their cookie lineup - adding new flavors and phasing others out. But this flavor is the one that has me most excited. It sounds delicious! Be on the lookout for your local Community Cookie Booth. The booths will officially open for business this Friday, February 28, 2026.

Girl Scouts standing at a table outside of Tops or Wegmans selling their highly anticipated cookies is iconic. Some people stock up on cookies so they have them throughout the year. This new cookie sounds so delicious that I might have to stock up on it. The Girl Scouts recently introduced Exploremores.

"Exploremores™, a rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich cookie, will join the legendary lineup for the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season. Filled with delicious flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond–flavored crème, Exploremores reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout."

They also confirmed that fan favorites like Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, and my favorite, Thin Mints, are available.
