Snow Reported This Week In New York State

We all know that here in Western New York, we get a lot of snow. But usually that snow happens in the winter months, not in the middle of August, so it was a shock when I heard it snowed in Hamburg overnight!

Did It Snow In Western New York Yesterday?

As we cruise into the month of August, we are expecting plenty of rain, but usually we don't get snow during the dog days of summer. So it was shocking to hear that it snowed in Hamburg overnight.

This morning, I asked my Alexa if it rained last night, and the answer she gave me was shocking. Alexa told me it didn't rain in Hamburg, but it did snow at 2 am!

Obviously it did NOT snow in Hamburg last night; in fact it barely rained. A lot of the heavy rain was south of us and to the east. That is set to change today with widespread rain expected across Western New York.

While I don't know how much rain we will get in Western New York today, the one thing I know is that it will not be snowing!!
