The Buffalo Bills are heading back to the AFC Championship game after beating the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium on Sunday night.

This will be the Buffalo Bills' seventh appearance in the AFC Championship game. Here is a look back at the Bills' history in the AFC Championship game.

January 8th 1989

This is the first time the Bills made the AFC championship in team history. They would go on to lose the Cinnanatti Bengals 21-10 in Cinnanatti. Jim Kelly had 163 passing yards in the loss for the Bills.

January 20th 1991

The Buffalo Bills showed off the K-Gun in a 51-3 win over the Oakland Raiders for their 1st AFC Championship win and first trip to the Superbowl. The Bills had over 500 yards on offense, while the defense had 5 interceptions in that game.

January 12th 1992

The Bills returned to the AFC Championship game after finishing the season 13-3. This game was all about the defense as the Bills eked out a 10-7 win over the Denver Broncos at home. Scott Norwood hit a late 4th quarter field goal to secure the win for the Bills.

January 17th 1993

For the 3rd straight year, the Bills made it to the AFC Championship, but this time they were on the road. They would beat their rival the Miami Dolphins 29-10 to secure their 3rd stright trip to the Superbowl.

Janurary 23rd 1994

For the first time in their history, the Bills would take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. The Bills were the home team and beat the Chiefs 30-13 to win their 4th stright AFC Championship.

January 24th 2021

For the first time in the Josh Allen era, the Buffalo Bills made it to the AFC Championship. They would travel to Kanas City to take on the Chiefs and end up losing 38-24.
