As you start stocking up on the Halloween candy you should double-check the candy you already have in your pantry.

KGR Distribution has issued a recall of over 145,000 candy products after an incident where a 7-year-old girl choked and died.

KGR Distribution has issued a recall for Cocco Candy Rolling Candy in various flavors. The issue is that the rolling ball that is part of the package can become dislodged and cause a choking hazard.

The products affected by the recall include:

These candies were sold across New York and the county in several different stores and online at www.kgrcandies.com from May 2022 through March 2023 for about $2.50 and consisted of 2 fluid ounces in various flavors including Sour Strawberry, Sour Tutti Frutti, and Sour Cola.

Parents are asked to stop using the recalled rolling candy immediately, take it away from children, and contact KGR Distribution for a refund.

The company will be issuing a refund to anyone who purchased the recalled candy.
