New York State Troopers End High Speed Chase On The I-90

There was a very scary scene on Monday night along the New York State Thruway.

New York State troopers were part of a high-speed chase that involved a stolen car.

According to a post on "X", formerly known as Twitter, police in Tonawanda, New York chased a stolen vehicle through several towns in Western New York, before the New York State troopers helped stop the vehicle along the I-90 near the Walden Ave exit.

According to the post, a Tonawanda Police cruiser was damaged in the chase but no injuries were reported.

This is not the first time a stolen car chase has happened in Western New York. It was last year that Cheektowaga Police Officer Troy Blackchief was seriously injured during a chase. He was struck by the fleeing vehicle during the chase
