One Buffalo Bills PLAYER will feel that joy tonight as he sees his high school number retired. Bills fullback Reggie Gilliam's agent posted on social media that Gilliam's high school will be retiring his number during their home game tonight.
Back in High School, Gilliam was a running back who rushed for 565 yards and eight touchdowns on 87 carries during his senior year. He also had 18 catches for 280 yards and three touchdowns. That year he was also named first-team All-Ohio Capital Conference Central Division.
Even though Gilliam hasn't put up big numbers in the NFL, he has been a big part of the Bills special teams and signed a new two-year deal worth 5.2 million dollars with the Bills in 2022. Having Gilliam's number retired just shows that Fullbacks do matter!
