It looks like it will be a snowy start to Spring this year in New York State.

A massive cold front will move across the area early this week and with it will be cold temperatures and scattered snow showers.

Starting out in Western New York, Lake Effect snow will bring several inches of snow for most of the area.

In Central New York, areas along Lake Ontario could see up to a foot of snow before the end of Tuesday.

Down near New York City, the weather will be dry but cooling down. A mix of sun and clouds is on tap over the next two days with highs near 50 for both today and tomorrow.
